Oral Health Therapists have a strong focus on prevention and oral health promotion providing high quality dental treatment including examination, treatment and prevention of dental decay and gum disease.
Oral Health Therapists perform your routine scale and clean, fluoride treatment, xrays and oral hygiene instruction. They can also provide treatment of gums disease and perform simple fillings for all ages.



Sarraa was born in Iraq and migrated to Australia at the age of two. She completed a bachelor of Oral health at the University of Sydney in 2015 allowing her to maintain healthy smiles for all ages. Sarraa has great passion in oral health awareness to improve the overall well-being of all her patients. 
 Sarraa has experience working in periodontics, in private practices around Sydney.
 Since joining the tooth Sparkler family in 2017, Sarraa’s treatment predominantly involves maintaining healthy gums, diagnosing and treating gum disease, pediatric dentistry, Invisalign and tooth whitening.
 Her contagious smile and gentle nature has helped all our patients feel at ease. In 2019, Sarraa resumed her studies at the University of Sydney to broaden her professional skill in adult restorative treatment planning and procedures. 



Pat is an Oral Health Therapist with over ten years of experience. He is passionate about providing high quality dental care with optimism, patience and kindness.  After always having a positive experience at the dentist growing up, Pat’s main influence to become an Oral Health Therapist was to also create these positive dental experiences for all his patients from his fun-loving attitude to his gentle approach to treatment. In 2019 he travelled to the remote village of Leh, Northern India, as a dental clinic volunteer for local adults and children. 
Patrick is also currently working as a clinical educator for first and third year Bachelor of Oral Health students at the University of Sydney.  An inner west local with a love of cooking (delicious vegetarian recipes) and exercise, Patrick is also a qualified yoga teacher who enjoys teaching and practicing yoga in his spare time. Rachel started at Tooth Sparkler in early 2019. 
After graduating from the University of Sydney in 2018 as an Oral Health Therapist, Rachel then did further study in 2019 to expand her current scope of practice to include restorative treatment planning and procedures for adult patients. 
 Rachel’s favorite part of her job is helping people improve their oral hygiene to maintain healthy teeth and gums for life! She especially loves seeing kids and making sure that their dental visit are fun and educational.
Rachel’s favourite toothbrush is an Oral B Genius electric toothbrush.  In her spare time, Rach loves to spend time with her puppy Cavoodle, Teddy! She also enjoys running, yoga and pilates. Before studying Oral Health, Rachel also studied nutrition.
